One of Canada's largest full- service electronic- component distributors, Electro Sonic stocks a complete range of components--from more than 180 manufacturers--in one of the largest warehouse facilities in Canada. The 80,000-square-foot facility is designed to handle the more than 650,000 shipments the company claims to process annually.
Among the services offered by Electro Sonic are just-in-time delivery, release as requested, scheduled orders, blanket orders, Kanban and kitting of parts to customer specifications.
Additionally, the company says it offers customers the ability to set up separate database systems. That service, in turn, lets individual Electro Sonic customers use their own part numbers when ordering components.
Electro Sonic's MRO sales division, meanwhile, is geared toward accelerated delivery and service at competitive prices to the maintenance, repair and overhaul segment of the industrial market.
In March, the Toronto-based company announced a supplier agreement with Binder-USA LP, the North American subsidiary of Franz Binder GmbH & Co. Binder is a German manufacturer of circular connectors and cords for use in industrial environments such as factory automation, process control and medical-technology applications.
