EE Times presents its Midyear Forecast

oday's corporations need leaders who can adjust to changing business conditions at Internet speed. Electronics industry CEOs must steer their companies toward greater profits and growth each year while developing technologies that use ever more bandwidth on larger networks connected to the global Internet. The executives articulate their vision for keeping companies on track in the new economy. From their vantage point as observers of the action, meanwhile, EE Times editors and correspondents from across the globe report on the progress in technologies from wireless communications to home LANs and assess whether their respective regions of coverage will jump aboard the racing train or be left behind. Seven industry analysts also weighed in for the forecast. They see room for more growth around the bend for savvy companies that refuse to be derailed by the challenges of the new economy.
