The UPC3237TK was specifically designed for amplification in antenna circuits and features current consumption of just 5mA (typ), making it well suited for battery-powered, DVB-H portable TV.
Its small size is another feature: At just 1.5 x 1.1 x .0.55mm, the UPC3237TK can help engineers faced with the task of miniaturizing their designs. RoHS-compliant, its 6-pin design is also easy to integrate.
Unlike other LNAs, the UPC3237TK uses just four capacitors and no inductors.
Performance specifications include:
Supply Voltage VCC: 2.4 to 3.3 V (2.8V typ)
Current ICC: 5.0 mA typ @ VCC = 2.8V
Noise Figure NF: 1.4 dB typ @ 470 MHz; 1.5 dB typ @ 770 MHz
Power Gain GP: 1 5.3 dB typ @ 470 MHz; 13.5 dB typ @ 770 MHz
The UPC3237TK is manufactured using NEC's latest 50 GHz UHS2 silicon germanium process. In stock and available now from California Eastern Laboratories, it's priced at 42 in 10K quantities.
