Small color OLED targets security apps

Winter Park, Fla. — A new 1.5 in. color OLED from One Stop Displays features an ultra-thin 1.65 mm-thick display that makes it suitable for next-generation ID, security cards, and programmable card applications.

Offering enhanced full color images, the display features the new SSD1338 driver IC that supports 262 k color depth. Viewing area is 34.0 mm (W) x 34.0 mm (H). The frame rate is 60 to 150 frames/seconds. The company said the display's intensity is targeted at 70 to 90 nits but is capable of higher intensities.
