Extension kit boosts HDTV video signals over Cat5 cable

The Model UVB1-CP is used to boosts analog HDTV component (YPbPr) Video on Category 5 cable up to 1,000 ft.

The kit includes the sender and receiver, as well as cables for each end. A single power supply is also provided that can be plugged to either end.

Unlike other passive Baluns, this device is active and boosts the signal using wide bandwidth (450 MHZ) differential (balanced) amplifiers for a sharp and clean image.

The unit provides Ground-Loop Isolation (GLI) and RF interference (RFI) immunity to prevent 60 cycle video hum or distortion. The active design matches the impedance of the UTP cable at all frequencies so that there is no image ghosting.

The UVB1-CP Receiver can be used with other component video extension and distribution products such as the UV2-S-CP, UV4-S-CP, UV8-S-CP or the UV1-16X-CP.
