PARIS — EDA and IP company Dolphin Integration SA announced the first release of its Electro Mechanical Behavioral Library of Engineering Models (EMBLEM-MATH).

Dolphin Integration (Meylan, France) said its EMBLEM-MATH 1.0 is comprised of mathematical equations for functions which allow building complex behavioral models with a netlist approach for composing them at the ViC and the SoC level.

This initial version is said to enable calculations with real numbers such as sources, addition, log, floor, round, derivation and gain. Then, designers can create their own library at high abstraction level based on mathematical functions, and they do not need to implement these functions in any specific HDL, Dolphin Integration noted.

The models, the company continued, target analog, logic and mixed-signal electronic domains. They are also suitable for physical domains such as thermal, electro-mechanics, electro-magnetic, electro-optic and electro-fluidic.
