The iCE65L01, part of the company's iCE65 mobileFPGA, family features 1,280 logic cells and up to 93 user I/O pins, according to SiliconBlue (Santa Clara, Calif.). The device supports functions critical to products like smartbooks and e-book readers, such as intelligent battery-life management and interrupt offload (to keep the application processor in a low-power mode as long as possible), the company said.
The iCE65L01 mobileFPGA is available now in three packages: VQ100, CB132 and QN84, SiliconBlue said. Unit price for the iCE65L01 in the QN84 package is 99 cents for 1 million units in annual volume production consumption, the company said. Engineering samples and software support are available now, the company said.
