Single user version of Artisan SysML/UML development tools available free

LONDON — Artisan Studio Uno is a free-of-charge yet fully functional, single-user version of Artisan Software Tools Artisan Studio SysML/UML collaborative development environment. It is designed to provide an entry-level toolset for standards-based, model-driven systems and software development using OMG SysML and UML.

Artisan Studio Uno delivers the same functionality as Artisan Studio for supporting collaborative, complex, mission and safety-critical systems and software development for the most demanding customers in the military, aerospace and defense, automotive and medical industries.

It implements and automates the OMG SysML and UML standards to present systems and software engineers with design views that are precisely tailored to their needs. It enables them to capture system requirements, structure and behavior, using requirements diagrams, parametric diagrams and block diagrams, to name but a few.

These views enable all stakeholders to improve their understanding of the planned systems while ensuring that the requirements are agreed and mapped through to the system designs.

If the project grows beyond the limit of the single user version, the Artisan Studio Uno models can be imported into the fully multi-user version, Artisan Studio. The modeling investment is therefore protected and major project expansion can be accommodated.
