Established in 1983, Maxim Integrated Products designs, develops, and manufactures linear and mixed-signal ICs. Their circuits connect the real world and digital world by detecting, measuring, amplifying, and converting real-world signals, such as temperature, pressure, or sound, into the digital signals necessary for computer processing. Maxim's products are used in a variety of microprocessor-based electronics equipment, including PCs and peripherals, test equipment, handheld devices, wireless communicators, and video displays.
