EM Research has released the ESP-3200 phase-locked oscillator which operates at 3200 MHz and is designed as a dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO) replacement in high-reliability, ruggedized applications such as SATCOM, electronic warfare, GPS, radar, and telemetry.

Key features:
  • phase noise <-120 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz
  • stability ±0.25 ppm
  • internal reference
  • +15 dBm output power
  • spurs <-80 dBc
  • harmonics <-20dBc

The internal reference can be optionally phase-locked for phase coherence to an external frequency reference used for other circuits in the system. Designed for ruggedized ground mobile or airborne operation the ESP-3200 also features an extended operating temperature range (-40°C to +85°C), high vibration tolerance and low power consumption.

Custom units are available in fixed frequencies from 50 MHz to 26 GHz in a connectorized DRO standard package of 2.25” x 2.25” x 1.00”. The package can be hermetically-sealed.
