To meet the emergency power needs of larger homes and to support wider power distribution for whole-house operations, Cummins Onan Residential Standby Generators now are available in 12 liquid-cooled models from 60 to 100 kW. This expands their current 10 to 47kW product offerings up to 100 kW.

"Builders of smart homes now include features such as automated lighting, touch-less plumbing fixtures, powered window treatments, video monitoring and security and other innovations that require clean power to operate," said John Klesk, product manager for Cummins Onan Residential Standby Generators. "Plus, homeowners often require standby power systems with the flexibility to provide zones of power to operate sections of their homes or their entire home when the grid goes down."

The quiet-running 60 to 100 kW Cummins Onan standby generators feature dependable, industrial grade, liquid-cooled engines with electronic ignition, automatic remote starting, automatic weekly exercise, brushless alternators, UL-listed circuit breaker, aluminum or steel enclosure and a two-year/2,000-hour limited warranty that is backed by factory trained and supported Cummins Onan technicians.
