The TR3M from Radiometrix is a high-end multi-channel narrowband transceiver that operates in the European 868MHz band, with custom variants for any 3MHz frequency block from 860-870MHz available on request.

The transceiver supports data rates of up to 5kbits/s, and has a usable range of over 500m. Employing a 1200baud dumb modem it allows transmission across 80 different channels.

Current consumption is 85mA for the transmitter and 30mA for the receiver, while the receiver sensitivity is -118dBm (for 12 dB SINAD). The module fits into a compact 59x38x10mm package. It conforms fully to EN 300 220-3 and EN 301 489-3.

The TR3M is targeted for low power applications where existing wideband modules have insufficient range, or where an upgrade to multi-channel operation is needed. It can be incorporated into the system designs and communication infrastructure of handheld terminals, heavy vehicle/machine remote controls, barcode scanners, data loggers, industrial telemetry/telecommand, environmental monitoring equipment, high-end security/fire alarms, and vehicle data up/download.
