Aonix settles in Toulouse

PARIS — Aonix North America, Inc., Californian supplier of solutions for mission-critical software applications, has opened a professional services office in Toulouse, France, that will provide expertise in real-time and embedded solutions in Java and Ada languages.

Aonix said the Toulouse office creates an opportunity to extend existing partnerships with companies in the southwest of France. Aonix has added a range of embedded and real-time software capabilities, including design and development (Java, Ada, C/C++), modelling, development environment support, validation, testing and certification. With a larger team located in France's industrial heartland, Aonix noted it would be able "to offer the responsiveness and flexibility of customers today."

"Industries today are much more concerned about development efficiency," noted Laurent Mares, Aonix vice president of sales in Europe. "They save overall development costs with the use of our leading-edge tools and our expertise in the real-time, mission-critical aspects of their applications."

Aonix is headquartered in San Diego, California, and in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, near Paris, France. The company also operates two European subsidiaries in Germany and in the UK. It has three development centers worldwide as well as 11 offices handling direct sales in North America, 6 offices in Europe and nine international distributors.
