San Jose, Calif. The EPM3512A is a 3.3-V CPLD that delivers 512 macrocells. Fabricated in a 0.3-micron four-layer metal process, the CPLD delivers 7.5-ns pin-to-pin performance and frequency counter speeds up to 115 MHz. It also provides an in-system programmability feature and supports both Jam STAPL and MultiVolt I/O (2.5, 3.3, and 5V) operation. The company's Quartus II software environment supports the new CPLD. Tools are also available from Mentor Graphics, Synopsys, and Synplicity.
