The AP4041 is a 4-port switch specifically optimized for HyperTransport designs. Providing an aggregate bandwidth of 102.4 Gbps, the switch supports four HyperTransport interfaces with I/O ports configurable to 2-, 4-, and a maximum 8-b data bus width. Each interface operates up to 800 MHz. Each port can also support a chain of up to 31 devices or connection to another switch. The product is manufactured in a 0.13-_m process and is housed in a 452-pin heat slug BGA.
