PICMG signaling blade
Rochester, N.Y. The IPnexus 5500 signaling blade has been developed for PICMG2.16 chassis applications. This blade combines an SS7 signaling stack with the company's NexusWare Linux-based development environment to provide a complete SS7 signaling platform. The board is built around Motorola's MPC8260 Power QUICC II processor and includes 128-Mbyte of DRAM and 16 Mbyte of programmable memory. The card also offers eight distributed SS7 links, an SNMP management interfaces, a command line interface, T1/E1 and Fast Ethernet interfaces, and a 6U form factor.
