CodeWarrior Development Tools 5.0 includes support for the DSP56800 family, a line of hybrid digital signal processors from Motorola that features microcontroller functionality and integrated flash memory. Version 5.0 of the CodeWarrior tools includes a new version of the CodeWarrior IDE as well as new features and enhancements to the debugger, editor, and project manager. Among the new features are support for flash programming, the option to debug the target chip within a JTAG chain, a command converter protocol, enhanced setting of hardware breakpoints, pragma interrupt handling, and reporting on pipeline dependencies in in-line coding. Version 5.0 also includes board-specific project stationaries and supports the following DSP56800 evaluation boards: DSP56F801EVM, DSP56F803EVM, DSP56F805EVM, DSP56F807EVM, DSP56F826EVM, DSP56F827EVM, DSP56824EVM.
