VisiBroker-RT for C++, a CORBA-compliant development environment for distributed applications, is now available for the VxWorks AE real-time operation system. VisiBroker-RT provides an object-oriented framework that insulates software developers from the details of interprocessor communication and underlying system architecture. CORBA compliance gives VisiBroker-based application components the ability to transparently interoperate with software objects implemented on any of the platforms with CORBA support. VisiBroker-RT is now available for customer testing on VxWorks AE using the Tornado Tools 3 development environment. Pricing begins at $7,900, which includes one year of technical support and software updates.
