The SS-V850 emulation system supports the V850 family of MCUs. It includes features and functionality for real-time device emulation, including on-board flash programming capability, real-time debugging functions, and a bidirectional parallel communications port. The SS-V850 system also offers nonintrusive, real-time tracing with a 32KB memory buffer and complex conditions for break and trace control. In addition, the emulator supports background servicing of interrupts while in break mode. The system consists of a main emulator board, the SS-V853A-EM emulation extension board, a Target extension probe, a 5V DC power supply, 32-bit GUI for Microsoft Windows, Green Hills Software's MULTI integrated development environment, the Red Hat GNU C compiler, the NEC box debugger, a hardware documentation and installation guide, and web-based programming examples. The V850/850E family of 32-bit RISC microcontrollers is designed for applications that require high-performance, single-chip operation, and lots of integration.The SS-V850 emulation system is available now for $1,500.
