Internet development platform
The Accelent Systems integrated development platform (IDP) provides an environment for prototyping or developing software for Internet appliance devices. Built around Intel's 32-bit StrongARM-1110 processor, the IDP features support for USB, PS2 and matrix keyboards, PS2 mouse; numerous serial and parallel ports; Ethernet; PCMCIA; compact flash; IDE for hard disk and CDROM; IrDA; touch panel; AC97 audio; JTAG; 802.11b; Bluetooth; and cellular radio. The IDP also features a 16-bit logic analyzer port, an integrated LCD display, an expansion bus for adding additional devices, and menu-driven boot options. The company plans to offer a similar platform for Intel's XScale architecture as well. The IDP for SA-1110 is available now for $2,995.
