DSP development package upgraded

Code Composer Studio v. 2 is a development environment for Texas Instruments' TMS320C5000 and TMS320C6000 DSP platforms, which are suitable for applications such as imaging and video, broadband access, and third generation wireless communication. Code Composer Studio v. 2 is designed for large development teams. It features a project manager that can handle thousands of files through an integrated version control interface to several source control providers. It also supports external make file capabilities to enable projects working across both PC and UNIX platforms. Code Composer Studio v. 2 provides the ability to debug mixed-multiprocessor designs simultaneously. A simulator with RTDX support enables real-time DSP/BIOS debugging in simulation. Other features include an update adviser, which provides automatic management of the latest tools, drivers, and technologies through the DSP Village by means of real-time web access; CodeMaestro technology, which, in the editor, is designed to ensure that code and function calls are entered correctly; and full support for C++, including both code generation and debug tools. Code Composer v. 2 is available now for $2,995.
