Featuring integrated current and temperature sensing capabilities, the 68HC908SR12 microcontroller is designed for use in smart batteries and chargers, home appliances, security systems, and other applications. The temperature sensor has a range of -20 to 70 degrees Celsius and a two-stage programmable amplifier. Features of the 68HC908SR12 include 12KB embedded flash; 512 bytes RAM; a 14-channel, 10-bit ADC; a three-channel, high-speed pulse width modulator; multiple timers; multi-master I2C with system management bus 1.0/1.1 capability; a serial communications interface; and a timebase module. The 68HC908SR12 is available now for $4 each.
