ZeBu: A Unified Verification Approach for Hardware Designers and Embedded Software Developers

When it comes to functional verification, traditionally the largest bottleneck in the design process, software-based approaches like simulation continue to lose ground. This paper proposes EVE's new functional verification product ZeBu (Zero-Bugs) as a solution. Zebu meets the needs of both hardware designers and embedded software developers: it can verify and debug new ASIC or SoC designs, testing the integration between hardware and software, and validating embedded software before actual silicon availability.
