Advances in Radar Processing

For the past few years, at GE Fanuc we have seen multifunctional radar systems which need to perform much more sophisticated, computationally intensive algorithms—and to do so within limited space and often with constraints on power and heat dissipation. Even single channel radar systems now require many processors to keep up with today's demanding real time I/O requirements. Thus, multi-core processors have become an extremely attractive alternative in this marketplace.
