The folks at Pentek, who wrote the book on software radio, are pleased to announce their recently expanded Software Radio Handbook. Updated in July 2011, the handbook has proved to be a useful technical reference for engineers.
The handbook highlights:

This is a great article for understanding the concepts of SWR from a classical radio hardware perspective

Some folks, rather few of them were talking about SCA 2.2.2 as a base for SDR. Does Hosking also say that SCA 2.2.2 is must for SDR. We have created fully flexible SDR in Labview (NI systems)platform with PXI based add on FPGA sub systems to run waveform. Is it possible to run our waveforms in Pentek hardware?. In case, what kind of development effort is required?. Thanks in advance.
kind rgds
