Power Reduction Techniques in Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuits: Practical Approaches

An appealing way to generate internal voltages is to use switching voltage regulators. For various design-dependent reasons, this solution has not gained popularity maybe because of the external components required and maybe because of the noise generated. Typical solutions in this area will be discussed with ideas for further work.
