In the field of analog electronics, the challenge in achieving precision is the need for calibration. Circuit calibration is typically performed by adjusting ("trimming") a resistance element, and there are a variety of techniques available for doing it. Unfortunately, each technique has significant disadvantages, such as limited frequency range. This paper provides an overview of Microbridge's solution: Microbridge Rejustor technology. The Rejustor is a passive, VLSI- and MEMS-compatible, adjustable micro-resistor that uses only electrical signals. It is also non-volatile and bi-directionally re-adjustable with very high precision (0.1% to 0.002).
