MicroTCA Preview

The MicroTCA standard promises many of the features of AdvancedTCA in a smaller, lower cost format that is suited to network edge and enterprise applications. These applications could vary widely, including telecommunications network applications, enterprise network applications, or even consumer applications. This white paper previews the MicroTCA specification scheduled for completion in early 2006, and overviews the technologies that will most likely be included in this new architecture.
