Embedded security is the next important product differentiator that can greatly expand markets for embedded vendors, and create the need for new products for embedded developers. The need for security in embedded applications is easily stated but difficult to apply.
In this paper the reader will become familiar with Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and how it provides higher levels of security while reducing required memory, processing power, power drain and required bandwidth.
