Rapid Development of Telematics Applications

Telematics is the combination of computing, wireless telecommunication and information technology to provide the capability to effectively convey information over a network to improve government business and consumer services. In the future, telematics will be a base technology for ubiquitous life, in the field of automotive telematics, home/personal telematics and servicing medical care and health to users. This paper provides an overview of telematics and components used in telematics products.
