Xilinx Virtex-5 (UMC 65nm Process) FPGA (XC5VLX50)

UMC's 65nm process is the first pure-play foundry technology to enter the market. The Xilinx Virtex-5 is the latest FPGA solution for next generation systems for wired/wireless networking, audio/video, storage/server and other markets. With as many as 330,000 logic cells, 1,200 I/O pins, and low power RocketIO serial transceivers the Xilinx Virtex 5 offers high level of integrated capabilities.

The Xilinx Virtex-5 is fabricated using United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) 65nm process lithography. The advanced design allows for more logic cells in a smaller form factor to reduce production costs.
