Nomadik Application Processors Combine ARM Core, Smart Accelerators in Novel Architecture

Taking aim at a new generation of mass-market portable multimedia products, STMicroelectronics' new Nomadik family of application processors, based on the ARM926EJ core, allows terminal designers to achieve the seemingly impossible result of adding very high-quality video and audio features while keeping power consumption extremely low and allowing enough headroom in the processor to add extra functions.
