Layout and Physical Design Guidelines for Capacitive Sensing

This application note describes the layout and physical design guidelines used for the capacitive sensing solution proposed in AN1101: Introduction to Capacitive Sensing. The layout and physical design of a capacitive system is an important part of the design process, as a good layout will make software implementation simpler. Depending on the application, the layout may be very simple or very complex, but the same basic guidelines apply.
