Multiport Millimeter-Wave Measurements Using Converters of the R&S ZVA-Family

The Rohde and Schwarz ZVA-Z110 converters offered for the ZVA family enable network analysis in the W band (75 GHz to 110 GHz). In this application note, measurements taken with three or four converters are discussed. Test configurations for such measurements, termed "multiport measurements," have so far been implemented only with coaxial connector systems, for a frequency range up to approximately 40 GHz.
