Mobile Location in UMTS

This paper provides an overview of mobile location issues. General issues are addressed first, such as what mobile location is, its applications, and information on current standards; then techniques and problems are considered; and, finally, the hearability problem and solutions for it are proposed. Results of test cases are provided to illustrate the solutions' effectiveness.
