EDC (Error Detection Code): Provides End-to-End Protection of User Data

This paper describes Agilent's Error Detection Code (EDC) used for end- to- end data protection. EDC is a subset of the new End-to-End Data Protection proposal described in document T10/03-111 of the T10 technical committee of the InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS)1.
