Test your BYO hardware using a Tek scope

One of the repeated suggestions we've had about our Build Your Own Embedded Systems track at the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) is to bring in a hardware testing element. For the most part, the past classes have centered on how you configure your software to make al the pieces work properly. While that's certainly important, the hardware testing piece is a key part that's been missing. You spoke, and we listened.

I'm really happy to say that we've added a hardware test class to the BYOES track. In the final session of the track, attendees will validate and troubleshoot operation of their embedded system through a series of guided, hands-on exercises. All tests will be performed on actual Tektronix oscilloscopes. Test tasks will include validating system-level operation, debugging serial data communications, checking signal integrity, and analyzing output voltage of the power supply. Application experts will be available to assist attendees through the test tasks. And all attendees of this session will be entered in a drawing to win a Tektronix digital multimeter.
